Loom Beading

Sun 24th Oct 2021
1.30 – 4.30pm

Methodist Church, Teddington

Fancy trying out a new skill this autumn?

Join us for a relaxing Sunday afternoon of beading heaven!

Using a wooden bead loom, we’ll teach you how to make an attractive bracelet or bookmark, either using one of our pattern templates or your own design. We’ll have lots of different beads for you to choose from, together with clasps to finish off the bracelet (if you choose this project).

We’ll start by showing you how to assemble and string up the loom, then you’ll be ready to weave your beautiful beaded creation. Finally, you’ll be taught how to finish off your work securely and neatly.

All materials and tools are provided, as are drinks, so just bring yourselves. The bead loom is also included in the workshop price, so that you’ll be able to continue beading at home.

The class will be taught by Ann and Catherine from Handmade Workshops.

In the event that the class is unable to go ahead due to the ongoing covid-19 virus situation, we will of course offer all participants the option of an alternative date or refund.
