Join us for the latest in our series of knitting workshops with expert teacher and knitwear designer Suzanne Strachan.
Come and extend your skills by learning various techniques for knitting in the round, useful for making hats, socks and so many other garments.
During the class, participants will be shown 3 ways of knitting in the round – using circular needles, double pointed needles and also circular needles with the magic loop technique.
You will then start to work on a fingerless mittens pattern designed by Suzanne, choosing either to use the double pointed needles or magic loop technique with circular needles.
Please bring with you a set of 3.75mm double pointed needles, an 80 or 100cm long 3.75mm circular needle and a ball of double knit yarn.
Hot drinks and cake will be served to help concentration!
Participants should have a basic knowledge of knit and purl stitches.
