Introduction to Brioche Knitting

Sat 16th Mar 2019
10am – 1pm

Elleray Hall, Teddington

Learn to knit brioche, the latest craze in knitting. Brioche stitch creates a lush, cushy reversible fabric. In the class, you will start by being introduced to the brioche knit and purl stitches using one colour, learn the terminology and acronyms and then move on to the basics of two colour brioche.

Participants need to be confident knitters and able to follow patterns.

Please bring 2 balls of contrasting shades of smooth DK (or aran weight) wool based yarns, together with a set of corresponding circular or double pointed needles.

Coffee, tea and home made cake will be provided.

The workshop will by led by Suzanne Strachan, yarn and knitting expert and talented knitwear designer.
