Mon 6th Dec 2021
7.30 – 9.30pm
United Response, Teddington
Join us for our jolly pre-Christmas papercraft workshop and learn how to make a selection of festive goodies out of paper.
During the session, led by local artist, printmaker and paper cutter Gill Smith, you will first be shown how to use paper-cutting tools safely. She’ll then guide you through the processes of making a Christmas card with a poinsettia design, another card with a papercut holly design, a gift box with a lid and a Christmas cracker.
All materials and the use of tools are included, though you might like to bring along your own scalpel, small scissors, cutting mat and metal ruler if you have them.
We’ll provide mulled wine, soft drinks and mince pies to add to the festive mood!
In the event that the class is unable to go ahead due to the ongoing covid-19 virus situation, we will of course offer all participants the option of an alternative date or refund.
